Azure Information Protection (also known as AIP) provides a comprehensive policy-based enterprise solution to help protect companies valuable information, no matter whom you share it with. AIP helps companies protect its documents and email by applying labels. Labels can be applied automatically by administrators who define rules and conditions, manually by users, or a combination where users are given recommendations. The protection associated with the label stays with the documents and emails, independently of the location—inside or outside your company, networks, file servers, and applications. This information protection solution keeps you in control of your data, even when it is shared with other people.

Pål-Erik has over 20 years’ experience in the IT business, and has a deep understanding of Microsoft systems, like Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange Server and today works mostly with Microsoft Cloud solutions (Office 365, EMS and Azure). His specialties are Office 365 and Microsoft Information Protection. In addition, he participates in presales, project management and as an advisor for customers in his current position with Innofactor. He also does training and workshops.

||We look at Azure Information protection from a client. How is content protected, how does it appear when we send/receive content that has been protected by Azure Information protection. We use AIP labels, the DNF function and also Encrypt Only feature.|

||Presentation and demoing of OME (Office message encryption). We look at how this can connect to Azure information protection and look at some does and don’ts. We also take a short look at MCAS (Cloud app security) and see how AIP can be integrated to this.|
