We are thrilled to highlight a significant announcement made by Microsoft during their recent partner event, Ignite, Just a week ago, Microsoft unveiled a new edition of Copilot within Microsoft 365, called Microsoft 365 Copilot Business. This variant is available at a more accessible price point, costing €20.69 per user per month. This substantial reduction in cost is designed to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) eager to embark on their journey with artificial intelligence and Microsoft Copilot. It is important to note, that this will only attach for Business Plans, and will have the same 300 seat limit as all other business plans.
Furthermore, when Microsoft 365 Copilot Business is sold as a standalone product, it will benefit from an additional 15% discount off the recommended retail price. This initiative aims to ease the investment required for SMBs to begin integrating AI into their operations and exploring frontier technologies. But that is not all, Microsoft also announced three new bundles, two of which will carry substantial discounts.
At the same event, Microsoft not only introduced Copilot for Business but also launched new business bundles, available for customers to purchase from 01/12/2025. To encourage adoption, Microsoft has included extra discounts in these bundles, which customers can take advantage of immediately or as their renewal periods approach.
Business Standard and Copilot for Business Bundle:
Business Premium and Copilot for Business Bundle:
Business Basic and Copilot for Business Bundle:
This bundle provides all the features of Business Basic along with Copilot for Business, but it does not offer any discount. Customers who wish to remain on Business Basic might want to simply add the standalone Copilot for Business, which comes with a 15% discount. This bundle is priced at €26.56
Both the Business Standard and Business Premium Copilot bundles have discounts automatically applied at the billing stage, though these will not be visible in the portal. To estimate the discounted bill, simply subtract the discount from the recommended retail price.
It’s important to note that these discounts are activated only when a customer orders 10 or more seats of the new bundle. Also, ensure that you are selecting the new combined SKU, not merely attaching Copilot for Business to an existing SKU.
Existing customers will be required to upgrade to access these new bundles, which is a valid path for integrating Copilot into their business use. Getting the full 12 months of discount will be about you and the client timing the purchase right.
Please take your time when processing these orders. As the terms for changing CSP subscriptions have also changed, and we may not be able to correct any mistakes. If you are unsure, please call us and a member of our team will guide you through the process.
As many customers are likely facing upcoming renewal periods, it is advisable to discuss these new bundles and discounts with both your team and your customers. Renewal times present an ideal opportunity to position these new SKUs for a segment of your customer base. Recent webinars have demonstrated considerable interest in these offerings, indicating strong demand across businesses of all sizes eager to understand how AI can benefit their operations. These new business SKUs provide an excellent chance for our community to introduce artificial intelligence into client environments. Of course we are here to help you with that. Looking ahead, a key challenge for our community will be to wrap valuable services around Copilot, ensuring customers achieve maximum return on their investment. At the outset of this fiscal year, we committed to delivering targeted training across the Microsoft 365 technology stack. Of course, upskilling is just one part of the equation. Another challenge is designing compelling offers—an area where many partners still seek support, and which we aim to address as we move into 2026. Keep an eye out for communications regarding our AI kick-off event scheduled for January. Following this, we will offer in-person and virtual ‘build with’ sessions, helping partners structure professional and managed services around Copilot. We encourage all partners to embrace this AI journey. As mentioned at our roadshow events, our MSP Frontier Programme will officially launch at the end of January during our major AI kick-off event.
Through working with numerous partners to educate their customers about AI and undergoing our own transformation as a frontier distributor, we are beginning to grasp how AI can be embedded into any business to tackle daily challenges.
