Microsoft has confirmed that a change introduced for subscriptions ineligible for Extended Subscription Term (EST) was subsequently rolled back. As a result, this rollback has affected any renewal setting updates processed on our portal on:
- Tuesday, 7 April
- Wednesday, 8 April
What does this mean?
If you or your team amended renewal settings for subscriptions during this timeframe, those changes may not have been retained following the Microsoft rollback.
What action is required?
We strongly recommend that partners:
- Review all subscriptions where renewal settings were updated on 7–8 April
- Reapply any intended renewal changes, if necessary, via the portal
- Pay particular attention to subscriptions that are EST‑ineligible, (anything with a renewal/expiry date before May 4th) as these were directly impacted
