Microsoft has refreshed the Surface for Business lineup with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. If you have not had a chance to look at the updated range yet, now is a good time — because customers are already asking about it.

The range still centres around two form factors, and the choice between them is usually straightforward once you know how the customer works.
The Surface Pro is the 2-in-1. It works as a tablet in a client meeting, a laptop on the train, and a full workstation when it is docked back at the desk. It suits roles that move around a lot — consultants, field sales, anyone who does not spend their whole day at the same desk.
The Surface Laptop is for the customer who just wants a great laptop. No kickstand, no complexity. Thin, fast, and it runs everything in the Microsoft stack without a second thought.
Both now come with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and on-device AI through the NPU. For customers asking about AI, that is worth knowing — the processing happens on the device itself, not in the cloud, which matters if they have data sensitivity concerns.
Professional services firms are the obvious fit. Legal, accountancy, consulting. The Surface Pro works well in that world — it is compact, looks the part, and the privacy screen is a practical add rather than an upsell for the sake of it.
SMBs coming off older hardware are another strong conversation. A lot of businesses are sitting on four or five year old devices and feeling it. The new Surface range is a credible refresh without being a difficult sell.
Hybrid workers are a natural fit too. Customers whose teams split time between home, office, and client sites get consistent AI-powered performance wherever they are, without needing to rely on a good connection.
Copilot is built in. For customers already on Microsoft 365, the experience is noticeably better when the hardware actually supports it. On-device processing means faster AI tasks and no data leaving the device.
If your customer has been asking about AI but has not done anything about it yet, Surface gives you a practical answer rather than a vague one.
Every device sale is an opportunity to build a complete setup. A Kensington dock turns a Surface into a full desktop in one cable. A privacy screen is a near-certain yes for anyone in a professional services or open-plan environment. A UAG case for customers who travel. A Hyper hub for hot-desking.
We stock Kensington, UAG, Hyper, and Targus across all of these. Browse the full accessories range at store.mwh.ie.
